Quilting fabrics

The top quilting layer is our new silver Tencel cooling fabric — 3× thicker than our previous cover, beautifully cool to the touch, anti-pilling, and built to last. It’s a genuine upgrade you’ll feel the moment you lie down. The side fabric is a high-end knitted black and light-grey, giving the Auntie Beryl a bold, distinctive look that stands out from anything else in the room.

A premium Eurotop

The thick Eurotop (box pillowtop) houses three premium foam layers.

The top layer is gel-infused memory foam — a beautifully soft foam that moulds to your body shape, with millions of medical cooling-gel beads infused throughout to keep your temperature regulated through the night.

Beneath that sits a second layer of memory foam, delivering the same cradling feel. It’s this double memory-foam combination — rather than a middle latex layer — that gives the Auntie Beryl its signature softness within The Ducks Nuts collection.

Finally, a plush high-density foam base brings it all together with that satisfying medium-plush feel.

7-zone pocket-spring system

Underneath the Eurotop is a 22cm, 7-zone pocket-spring system with reinforced edge support. The seven zones are engineered to deliver firmer support where your body needs it most — head, lumbar, knees, and feet — while allowing your shoulders, hips, and calves to sink in gently for pressure relief. The result is a mattress that works with your body, not against it.
